MATCH GROUP PACKAGE MICRO GRANTS | $3,500-$5,000
Your gift of $10,000 allows for the completion of a 20 foot section of the wall limited to a portrait or 3-7 historical images. There are special grants that let the non-profit match donations of less than $10K. For instance, with a $3.5 K donation, the Tchoupitoulas Arts Corridor can match with $1.5K in grant funding to do a 5k section as a partial mural panel with 1-3 historic images. While we could not create an entire section for this amount, it does allow us to cover the cost of a few images on an entire section.

Historical Preservation
As many of the neighborhoods of New Orleans continue to be gentrified, the floodwall mural celebrates the rich history of the city's music, people, art and culture. The history spans from original human occupation of the area with the native Americans to current day.

Our organization works diligently to provide provide art education to young people though fellowships learning the ins and outs of mural painting and the business of art as a career.
A record breaking monument in the city
Upon completion, the mural will be the longest in the United States at over a mile long. It is a truly great thing to pair such a grand size with the grand history of New Orleans
